The challenge
The team at Ca’s Saboners needed an automated payment solution for direct online bookings. It was essential to guarantee reservations with upfront payments, even for flexible rates subject to cancellation penalties two days before arrival, and to process no-show charges effectively.
They team also spent considerable time on manual tasks, such as reviewing the cancellation policies for each cancelled booking, calculating charges, and processing payments manually.
The solution
ePayments Manager, was introduced to automate these processes, ensuring guest credit cards were validated and secured at the time of booking. The system automatically processes payments according to each booking’s cancellation policy.
Additionally, ePayments allows tokenization of all credit cards, enabling seamless management of payments through a single platform. This includes penalty charges, no-show fees, refunds, and keeping the reservation confirmation updated with a detailed payment history.
