About Hotels VIVA
Hotels VIVA was founded in 1998 as a family business, currently manages six owned hotels under the VIVA brand and a rural hotel, co-owned, with its own brand. These hotels are located in privileged enclaves in the north and east of the island of Mallorca (Spain).
They offer guests 3 segments that range from an unforgettable family vacation, a few days of rest to practice sports and also a vacation focused on an audience that chooses relaxation only for adults with a careful gastronomic offer.
Hotels VIVA means quality in services, professionalism and trust, all essential requirements to turn a simple vacation into an unforgettable experience.
The challenge
Hotels VIVA needed to increase its Flight + Hotel sales in its direct channel, to start monetizing and taking advantage of its traffic and dedicated resources. At the same time, it would serve to reduce dependence on OTAs, where users could book this type of product and therefore gain competitiveness in favor of their direct channel.
The chain was already working with a flight+hotel solution but it did not satisfy their needs or objectives.
They needed:
- A flexible solution that would allow them to have the best airfares.
- Enhance your strategy for the direct channel with flight + hotel bookings.
- Be able to implement your loyalty program also for customers with flight + hotel bookings.
The solution
Implementation of the Online Travel flight+hotel solution in the direct channel.
The solution is based on the package engine and booking flow of DESTINIA, an international agency leader in the tourism sector with more than 16 years of experience in online package sales, through its B2B subsidiary Online Travel, specialized in providing this service to companies.
The integration between Online Travel and the Roiback CRS, allowed Hotels VIVA to have absolute control of its product and its packaged direct sales, offering special and exclusive rates for real-time sales. In addition, offering simpler and more automated management.
The package booking flow was fully customizable with the Look&Feel of Hotels VIVA, maintaining the logic and process used by Online Travel for package sales.
In addition, we implemented the loyalty component on the flight plus hotel landing page. This allowed their loyal customers to benefit from all their advantages, both in hotel reservations and in flight plus hotel reservations.
The results
As a result of the work done and all the agreed actions, Hotels VIVA saw a significant increase in sales of flight + hotel from the first minute.
In recent years, actions have been taken to achieve greater visibility, increase the capture of qualified leads, and improve sales conversion, thus obtaining the following results:
