Roiback, a company specialized in the management of the direct sales channel for hotel chains and independent hotels, has been awarded as the best supplier for hotel reservations in the world at the World Travel Tech Awards 2021.
This is the sixth consecutive year that Roiback has been honored at the World Travel Awards. Between 2016 and 2020 it received the award for the best supplier in Europe, while this year it has been awarded as the best supplier worldwide.
The World Travel Tech Awards are one of the most recognized awards in the industry, giving awards in more than a hundred categories, including technology companies, destinations, hotels, airlines and travel agencies, among many others.
"Receiving this recognition fills us with pride and, above all, pushes us to continue working with our clients to help them adapt to an increasingly digitalized and competitive environment, where direct sales has proven to be a valuable generator of profitability," said Rebeca Gonzalez, Managing Director of Roiback.
During 2021, Roiback has released numerous evolutions to its booking engine and tools to enhance direct sales.
Among them, RBLoyalty, the new consulting and strategy service specialized in loyalty programs for hotels, which is added to its Loyalty and Loyalty Advance technology platforms; Metabase, a reporting and optimization platform for metasearch campaigns; Experiencias Regalo, a functionality that allows the sale of hotel services - with or without accommodation - in the form of a voucher, without the need to indicate the date of enjoyment at the time of booking; Epayments Manager, a tool for automating and scheduling payments; as well as important developments in its modules for Call Centers, Agencies and Companies.
In addition, Roiback has continued its strong growth in Spain, the rest of Europe, Mexico and Latin America, and the Middle East and Asia.
Specifically in Mexico and Latin America, Roiback has doubled its team in 2021, adding a Regional Director and adding professionals to the technology, account management and digital marketing teams.
"2021 has been a complex year, where the uncertainty caused by the pandemic has remained very present. At Roiback we have worked to respond to the key needs of our customers, bringing to market tools that offer added value when it comes to improving conversion rates, enabling more efficient resource management or automating previously manual processes," added Leo Llorente, Director of Product and Innovation at Roiback.
