We are pleased to announce the incorporation of Christos Vitzilaios as Regional Manager in Italy, who will bring his extensive experience in the tourism sector to provide comprehensive support to the team and clients in the region.

With more than 16 years of experience in the tourism sector, Christos has developed a career that goes back to his roots, having grown up in the hotel environment on the island of Paros, Greece, where his family managed a small vacation hotel. Since then, he has worked in resorts and five-star hotels in Greece as Sales Manager, managing corporate and MICE accounts in prestigious chains such as Aldemar Resorts and Royal Olympic Athens.

His big professional leap came in 2010, when he joined Booking.com. For a decade, Christos held several key roles, starting as Account Manager and later as Market Team Manager, which allowed him to lead teams in different cities such as Athens, Thessaloniki, and Rome. In his last stage at Booking, he managed the Italian market from the capital, consolidating his deep knowledge of the hotel sector and market behavior in Italy.

In the last three years, he has worked as a freelance consultant in Rome, providing advice to hotels in critical areas such as sales, Revenue Management, and customer satisfaction, strengthening his reputation as an expert in driving profitability and hotel success.

Based in Rome for six years, Christos feels like a "Roman by adoption", having started his family in the Città Eterna, a city that has always fascinated him. In addition, he is fluent in five languages and in his spare time enjoys football, geography, road trips and, of course, good gastronomy.

Regarding his incorporation to Roiback, Christos comments: "I am very happy to be part of Roiback and the HBX family. I believe that the ecosystem of solutions that we propose to hotels is one of the keys for them to adapt to market evolutions, always maintaining control over their sales and development strategy".
